  • 1 peelLemonExpress oils over drink and use as garnish · garnish

You’ll need: Jigger, Mixing glass, Bar spoon, Strainer, Peeler

Method — Stirred

  1. 1Add all liquid ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice
  2. 2Stir for 30 seconds until well-chilled
  3. 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass
  4. 4Express oils from lemon peel over the surface and garnish with the peel

The story

The Alaska cocktail dates back to the early 20th century and was traditionally made with gin and yellow Chartreuse.

Variations

This version is revised with Fino Sherry and Suze for added complexity.
