The story
A modern variation on the Last Word template that incorporates savory elements through the use of Cynar and salt. The name references both its inspiration cocktail and the artichoke (buzz) component of Cynar.
Variations
Can be made with different amari such as Averna or Meletti for different flavor profiles. Some versions add a dash of celery bitters.
Host tips
The saline solution enhances flavors without making the drink taste salty. Clear ice is recommended for both aesthetics and slower dilution.
