Method — Stirred

  1. 1Add all liquid ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice
  2. 2Stir until well-chilled
  3. 3Strain into a chilled martini glass

Variations

Modern versions sometimes substitute Cocchi Americano for Lillet Blanc, as the latter's formula has changed since the drink was invented.
