The story

A historical reinterpretation of the cosmopolitan, based on how the drink might have been made in 1934, with gin instead of vodka and fresh raspberries to add color and flavor rather than cranberry juice.

Variations

Can be made with different berries such as blackberries or strawberries for different flavor profiles and colors.

Host tips

The raspberries provide subtle color and flavor without muddling, allowing the gin to shine through. Double-straining is crucial to remove the raspberry seeds.
